イギリス人フォトグラファー、ニック・ワプリントン （Nick Waplington）の作品集。作者は1991年にAperture社から発行されたデビュー作品集「Living Room」で一躍有名作家となった。同書は、イギリス・ノッティンガムの労働者階級の2つの家族の日々の生活を5年間に渡って撮影したもので、特に被写体たちがカメラの存在を全く意識していないことが特徴であった。それから約25年経った今、未収録の写真で編集し直して作られた一冊。オリジナルの「Living Room」同様、各ページにはオリジナルに掲載されなかったものの印象的なイメージが数多く収録されており、幼い子供たちの無邪気な姿や、家族との生活等を美しいカラーで捉えている。

The Photographs in this book are taken from a box of machine made work prints which were made for editing purposes during the design of the two original Living Room books. What you see here is a selection of works that didn't make the final edit of either  publications.
