二者ともに1936年生まれであり、またそれぞれの立ち位置における主要な芸術運動、日本の「もの派」とフランスの「シュポール／シュルファスにおいて、ウーファンとヴィアラは重要な役割を果たしてきている。本書は、2023年にロンドンの「ペース・ギャラリー（PACE GALLERY）」で開催された初の合同展に伴い刊行された一冊であり、作品図版と、キュレーターであり美術史家のアルフレッド・パックマン（Alfred Pacquement）による書き下ろしのテキストが掲載されている。

This book documents their first joint exhibition in 2023 at Pace Gallery, London, with illustrations of their work and new texts by Lee, Viallat and curator Alfred Pacquement.
