スウェーデン人アーティスト、カール・ホルムキヴィスト（Karl Holmqvist）の作品集。本書は、作者がフリデツィアヌム美術館の階段で始めたプロセスベースのサイトスペシフィックなインスタレーション作品「Existential Staircase / Existenzielles Treppenhaus」の記録を収録。建物の上から下まで、階段のそこかしこにホルムキヴィストは黒いマーカーでドイツ語と英語でWから始まる5つの単語（だれ、いつ、なに、どこ、なぜ）を書いた。全て大文字で、時には1つ、時にはいくつかまとめて書かれた無数の問いが、階段の側面と正面、踊り場の壁を支配した。

Swedish artist Karl Holmqvist began the processual, site-specific artwork Existential Staircase / Existenzielles Treppenhaus of the Fridericianum in the building's stairway. Written in black marker up and down the stairwellare the Five Ws: "WER!!?," "WANN!!?," "WAS!!?," "WO!!?," and"WARUM!!?" or "WHO!!?," "WHEN!!?," "WHAT!!?," "WHERE!!?," and"WHY!!?" The questions, written in capital letters and arranged individually or in groups, dominate the side and front walls of the staircase as well as the landings.
